OUR PRAYERS

Thank you for the freedom that I have to worship you with a community of believers. Protect the church families; others in our country and around the world from the power of evil. Sustain them with the power of the Holy Spirit so that all may be welcome to worship. Amen

Praise him with the sounding of the trumpet, praise him with the harp and the lyre, praise him with tambourine and dancing, praise him with the strings and flute, praise him with the clash of cymbals, praise him with resounding cymbals. Let everything that has life and breath praise the LORD. Praise the LORD. Psalm 150: 3-6

Thank you, Lord for your provision. Create in me a heart that is truly thankful. I bless you with my money, time, gifts, and talents. All that I have is yours. Keep my heart open to share without restraint. Amen.

“All who sacrifice thank offerings honor me, and prepare the way, so that I may show them the salvation of God.” Psalm 50:23

Lord God, help me to remember that you are always with me in every season of life. Thank you that your love is a healing balm for my wounds. Give me eyes to see you more and help me to grasp the fact that my struggles are temporary, but your love is forever. Amen.

“Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinful people, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.” Hebrews 12:2-3

Our Father and Our God,

We praise You for Your goodness to our nation, giving us blessings far beyond what we deserve.

Yet we know all is not right with America.  We deeply need a moral and spiritual renewal to help us meet the many problems we face.

Convict us of sin.  Help us to turn to You in repentance and faith.  Set our feet on the path of Your righteousness and peace.

We pray today for our nation’s leaders.  Give them the wisdom to know what is right, and the courage to do it.

You have said, “Blessed is the nation whose God is the Lord.”  May this be a new era for America, as we humble ourselves and acknowledge You alone as our Savior and Lord.

This we pray in Your holy name, Amen.
