Prayer Shawls

Prayer is a powerful thing!! If you know of someone who is in need of prayers, consider giving them the gift of a prayer shawl. We have many beautiful shawls available in the church office – each one comes with a card and the best part is they are free to anyone! This is a great way to show your love, lift up someone in prayer, and to let someone feel God’s warm embrace around them. See Helen or Stacey for more information.

Time and Talent

Shawl Makers-We are starting to run a little low on prayer shawls. We are getting lots of requests for them and also gave out shawls to the recent new member class. If you have the time to make one it would be greatly appreciated! You can be reimbursed for your yarn- we have received a few donations to help with the cost. If you would like to become a part of our prayer shawl makers, Stacey has the instructions for those of you who may already know how to knit or crochet, and if you'd like to learn we could put a class together.
