Family and Community groups work to build relationships between members and between the congregation of St. Paul's and the community.
| Family/Community LinksCommunity Organizations like Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts and 4-H use our facilities during the week. Men in Ministry meet for fellowship, devotions, projects and breakfast. Prayer Requests are taken by the prayer telephone chain and at each worship service. Women's Group meets for time together, a Bible Study and to plan an annual retreat. Table of Family and Community Development; Works with the various areas in the church that build relationship between members and between the congregation and the community.
a. Seeks to involve all young people in some aspect of the church’s program.
b. Fosters activities which encourage a spirit of fellowship and unity among the members of the church.
c. Recommends to the Trust and Memorial fund candidates for scholarships sponsored by the congregation related to camping or educational purposes.
d. Organizations such as Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, 4-H will correspond with the Table of Family and Community Development.
e. Promotes “all church” activities such as sporting events, congregational picnics, family fun nights, and special church events.
f. Is responsible for organizations not specifically assigned to any other table.
g. St Paul’s men’s and women’s groups will be accountable to the Table of Family and Community Development.
h. Develops relations with churches or other groups in the area to meet common community needs.
i. Develops a resource involving person(s) who would be able to assist a household in a time of crisis or in case of an emergency arising.
j. The Hanover Food Shelf will correspond with the Table of Family and Community Development.
