He is risen!
Good Morning Everyone
Pastor Tori is coming to your living room, from mine.
Happy Easter! Easter is not just a day…but also a season. The liturgical Easter season goes from this past Sunday up to Pentecost, which is at the end of May. During this Easter season, you will notice a different liturgy that keeps us focused on the risen Lord.
Normally, if we were gathering at church, this would be a day we would take communion together, so we have included the communion words of institution video for you.
I hope you have a wonderful week and Happy Easter!
He is Risen! He is Risen indeed!
Confession and Forgiveness
Loving God, we confess that at times we do not share in the joy of the resurrection but are caught in the worries of the world. We confess that we do not always live in the spirit of new life but remain discontent, grumbling and anxious. Forgive us for not sharing in the Good News. Forgive us when we find it more comfortable to worry and complain than to risk the joy and encouragement of new life in Christ. Call us back to Your ways, O God, to seek hope and reconciliation, restoration and peace. In the name of the Risen Christ, we pray. Amen.
Christ is Risen! The stone is rolled away, the tomb found empty. Mary calls out, “I have seen the Lord!” We have seen Christ, too, in every helping hand, in every heartfelt gift, in every choice to restore life in this world. We are called to this new life, a life of forgiveness and reconciliation. You are forgiven; accept your forgiveness and know that God loves you and desires great joy for your life. Walk forward on this journey of faith, knowing your brothers and sisters are with you. Amen.
Prayer of the Day
Almighty and eternal God, the strength of those who believe and the hope of those who doubt, may we, who have not seen, have faith in you and receive the fullness of Christ's blessing, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and forever. Amen.
When I feel afraid, think I've lost my Still You're there right beside me,And nothing will I fear as long as You are near. Please be near me to the end. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathThy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path I will not forget Your love for me, and yetMy heart forever is wandering.Jesus be my guide, and hold me to Your side,I will love You to the end. Thy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my pathThy word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path You're the light unto my path.
Sermon – Pastor Tori
Merciful God, our ordinary gifts seem small for such a celebration, but you make of them an abundance, just as you do with our lives. Feed us again at this table for service in your name, in the strength of the risen Christ.

Our Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name, thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory forever and ever. Amen
Let Us Pray
How very good and pleasant it is, Lord God, to be drawn together by you as brothers and sisters in Christ during this Easter season. Pour your empowering Spirit upon us, that the message we proclaim may become more than words upon a page. Help us to listen for and lean toward your voice which speaks beyond the words we utter. Move us past our doubts that we might step forward with a faith that does not end when our worship ends. Touch the areas of our lives that need to be touched, so that we might then recognize that no door is so heavy that it can lock you out. This we pray in the name of the One who rolled away the stone. Amen.
May the God who raised Jesus from the dead grant you grace,
the Son who gave his life for you give you peace,
and the Spirit who is with you day by day,
inspire you to greater service both now and forever more. Amen
Go in Peace and serve the Lord. Thanks be to God!
