SEEKING CHURCH COUNCIL MEMBERS
In 1 Peter 4:10 the Bible says “Each one of us should use whatever gift he has received to serve others, faithfully administering God’s grace in its various forms.”
The Nominating Committee is currently accepting names for people who are interested in using their gifts to serve others on the Church Council for a three year term.
Prospective council members need not have experience in church leadership. Any confirmed member of the church is able to serve on the council. The Nominating Committee is seeking candidates who have a love for Jesus and His church and are passionate about supporting the vision and mission of St. Paul’s so we can determine where we are going as a congregation and how to get there. In addition, we are seeking candidates who are willing to support a positive and welcoming atmosphere, who will advocate for the ministry, have positive attitudes, are a team player, and wish to continue supporting the spiritual growth of the members of St. Paul’s. Duties include a monthly meeting and the commitment to manage and direct church business alongside the other council members and Pastors.
If you are interested in more information or would like to be considered for a council member position, please submit your name, email, and phone number to Tracey Morris at email@example.com by November 30th. After November 30th a member of The Nominating Committee will reach out to you about serving on Church Council.
