Position Vacancy – Office Administrator

St. Paul’s Lutheran Church is seeking an Office Administrator position. The Office Administrator is a part-time position, 27 hours, and reports to the Senior Pastor. This position helps facilitate business functions of the church, staff and two pastors.

Principle Accountabilities
· Coordinate events of the church and community by maintaining a calendar.
· Providing general secretarial support and answering phone.
· Maintaining accurate records.
· Creating and publishing church newsletter and other correspondence using computer and various software.
· Miscellaneous duties as assigned 

Job Skills Required
· Excellent organization and communication skills.
· Accuracy and detail oriented.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc. Training will be provided in church management software if needed,
· Willingness to work a flexible schedule.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and to work with minimal direct supervision.
· 3-5-year related experience in an administrative capacity.
· Members of St. Paul’s will be given first consideration.

High School diploma – some college preferred
