Table of Evangelism; Works with the various areas of the congregational life that deal with outreach and ministry to members of the community.

a. Is available for visitation service as requested by the pastor.

b. Maintains contact with the Armed Forces persons, missionaries, and other members of the congregation serving in unique offices.

c. Secures and brings to the pastor any unmet needs for pastoral services, counsels with pastor on matters of doctrine, church policy, and disciplinary action.

d. Develops a program of visitation evangelism to people who are not active members or non-members of the congregation, following up on information obtained.

e. Is responsible for the development of courses to meet the needs of special groups such as the newly married, aging, or new members of the church which would include a new member reception.

f. Provides an up to date list of organizations and their functions for new members and shall encourage new members to find active roles in the work of the congregation.

g. Makes regular visits to members who are now shut-ins or in nursing homes.
