Our curriculum is Bible based and each class is age specific with Bible stories, verse memorization, and a craft. We use books, the Bible, movies, and other media to teach the children about God's love. For our PreSchool thru 4th Graders we offer a 3 year rotational curriculum: Year One: Old Testament. Year Two: New Testament. Year Three: New Testament. For our 5th & 6th Graders we offer a devotional based curriculum based on the Gifts of God, Important People of the Bible, and the teachings of Jesus. Every year all grades focus on either the sacraments, Lutheran Theology, the Apostle's Creed, or the Lord's Prayer. Grades 2-6 also work of different challenges: using their bibles, the 10 commandments, the Lord's Prayer, the Apostle's Creed, and the Books of the Bible.
All Sunday School donations for the 2011-12 School year are being sent to Heifer International. So far, we have bought: a goat, a flock of chicks, honey bees, a flock of ducks,a llama, 2 sets of geese, and a water buffalo. Total: $656.80. Thank you for your donations!
